These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Convora AI platform ("Service") operated by Convora AI ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Convora, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Convora is an AI-powered chatbot platform that enables businesses to:
- Create and deploy AI chatbot widgets on their websites
- Crawl websites and ingest documents to build a knowledge base
- Provide automated, AI-generated responses to visitor questions
- Capture leads and track visitor interactions
- Access analytics and conversation insights
The Service is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform accessible via web browsers and APIs.
3. Account Responsibilities
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and API keys
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Not share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications
- Distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Abuse API rate limits or attempt to overload the system
- Train competing AI models using our Service outputs
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
Our property
The Convora platform, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Convora AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Your property
You retain full ownership of all content, documents, and data you upload to or create within the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we will never use Your Content to train our AI models or share it with other customers.
6. Payment Terms
- Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your account
- Taxes are your responsibility unless we are legally required to collect them
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Specifically:
- The Service is provided on a "best effort" basis
- No Service Level Agreement (SLA) is provided for free-tier accounts
- Paid plans may include uptime commitments as specified in your plan details
- We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice
- We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control (force majeure, third-party outages, etc.)
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
- We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated responses or any decisions made based on them
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard settings or by contacting us
- We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with 30 days' notice
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, IP, governing law) will remain in effect
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days in advance
- Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
- If you disagree with the changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect
